Award for Best Care Village Gaunt Francis Architects have scooped the award for Best Care Village for their scheme at Clevedon near Ilkley for Audley at the well respected 2010 Pinders Healthcare Awards. The awards champion the design of healthcare and retirement developments, acknowledging the contribution made by designers, architects and the owners who have incorporated the needs and desires of the residents into the design. Audley Clevedon was one of three finalists in the category and was visited by the judges in March, where all aspects of the development were examined and rated. Nick Sanderson, Chief Executive of Audley said: “Clevedon is unique in the retirement village sector, offering residents independent living, but with the reassurance and support of our staff. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved here and are currently rolling out the Audley concept at several other sites around the country.”
