David joined Gaunt Francis Architects in 2016 after completing his Part II studies at the University of Liverpool. Prior to joining, he gained valuable experience in the residential sector, focusing on conservation and heritage projects in Winchester.
At Gaunt Francis Architects, David has continued his professional development, successfully completing his Part III studies at the Welsh School of Architecture and registering as an Architect. Additionally, he contributes to the profession by acting as a student mentor for the RSAW mentoring scheme.
David’s expertise lies in working on large residential and retirement living schemes, along with hospitality projects involving significant interventions with existing buildings. His comprehensive understanding of both contemporary design and heritage conservation enables him to deliver projects that respect and enhance their existing environments.
