Gaunt Francis Architects were responsible for carrying out a £5m comprehensive upgrade of this existing former-warehouse in the Jewelry Quarter of Birmingham which has long been the home the College of Law (now the University of Law) in the city. The upgrade of the building was delivered in three phases over three years, all carried out whilst the College remained open (with students in occupation on a typical day). The work included a new-build teaching space extension, new basement café, new entrance hall and refurbishment/upgrading of all existing space.
