The Lakes by YOO is a stunning 850 acre luxury private estate in the eastern section of the Cotswold Water Park. In collaboration with The Lakes by YOO, we mainly focused on the coordination and delivery of the lakefront properties that characterise this exclusive development. The buildings are highly efficient, modular pre-fabricated timber framed structures. The manufacturer in Slovenia ships them to site in panelised form. The panels are then erected at great speed onto pre-prepared piled foundations. We worked to coordinate the purchasers ideals and interior designers proposals, and to ensure compliance with all the applicable standards and certification requirements. By working closely with the construction team, we ensured that the design is correctly understood and translated on site. We utilised BIM software to primarily deliver high levels of accuracy. However, this also provided 3D imagery so purchasers could understand the final product more easily.
In addition to the coordination and delivery role, we were able to assist with master-planning a future expansion of the estate. Furthermore we also developed concepts for new woodland units on the site.
