Kimberley obtained BSc (Hons) and Master of Architecture in Aberdeen Scotland, gaining a Merit for her final year project. This project was also nominated for an Urban Design Award by the A+DS and RIAS, a selection of the ten top student projects in Scotland. Kimberley then went on to work in London for 8 years where she delivered high end residential projects initially and then several private schools, some of which have been featured in the AJ Online. During this time, she obtained PgDip in Architecture with Merit (Part 3) from the University of Westminster and registered as a Chartered Architect.

Kimberley had the privilege of working with the Royal Airforce Club in Piccadilly London, where she was the Project Architect responsible for delivering their Centenary Project. This complex extension and refurbishment to the Grade II Listed Building was opened by Her Majesty the Queen. Having relocated to Wales, Kimberley joined Gaunt Francis in 2024 as an Architect. She also volunteers on her local church committee as Co-Project Lead and is responsible for coordinating their Beacons Project.
